Closure Child Care Available

As an Executive order by Governor Walz, all Minnesota K-12 schools will be closed from March 18-27, 2020. The purpose of the closure is to allow schools and districts time to plan for potential longer-term school closures. During the short-term closure, and in response to this order, we are offering free school-aged child care to children of emergency responders and health professionals that are currently attending Duluth Public Schools ISD709, and Duluth Public School Academy ONLY. We are also offering this service to district teachers & staff.

Our KEY Zone and Eagle’s Nest programs will provide programming at all our current locations to families who fit the mandatory order criteria.

Post-acute and long-term care facilities, including nursing and assisted living facilities

The form must be filled out by Tuesday, March 17 by 12:00p.m. so staff can be prepared to serve your child(ren). Even if you are currently using our services, you must fill out this form and there will be additional documents if your child(ren) has an allergy and/or medication. Please arrive on your first day early to fill out all the appropriate forms. We may consolidate programming to specific sites depending on enrollment numbers while being aware of best practices for social distancing. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this challenge and contact us with any questions.
